At 5 Elements Kung Fu, whether you are just beginning or deepening years of practice, our Sifu trains beside you, guiding you to real strength, resilience, and inner balance. Our traditional Five Element, Five Animal Shaolin system weaves together practical self-defense, powerful forms, and mindful conditioning to build:

Our Classes
Guest Program
Our Guest Program is a gentle, 3‑month introduction to the 5 Elements Kung Fu journey, with the flexibility to leave at any time.
You’ll train in dedicated beginner classes (45 minutes, with the option to stay for the full hour), focusing on foundations, breathing, and basic techniques.
No weapons, no pressure, just a supportive space to explore kung fu at your own pace.
Adult Group Classes
Each 60‑minute session weaves together qi gong breathing, warm‑up, strength training, line boxing, and form practice in the air, on the BOB, and on the wooden dummy.
More class options open as you advance in rank for a total of 10 classes a week. We also offer a dedicated weapons class open to all levels.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are one‑on‑one sessions with Sifu Burns, tailored to exactly what you want to work on: whether that’s refining forms, deepening basics, learning weapons, building fitness, or focusing on practical self‑defense.
Move at your own pace, ask questions freely, and receive focused guidance designed around your personal goals.
Lil’ Dragons (Kids Classes 6 – 12yrs old)
Our kids’ classes introduce traditional kung fu in a fun, focused way, built especially for growing minds.
Through mindful movement, forms, and partnered drills, children develop discipline, respect, flexibility, strength, body awareness, and real self‑confidence, while learning to channel
Certified Instructor Training (CIT)
Our Certified Instructor Program is designed for dedicated students who want to deepen their understanding of kung fu and learn how to share it with others. Through training in forms, meditation, school etiquette, greetings, and kung fu history, students build the knowledge, confidence, and professionalism needed to teach with respect and purpose.
