About 5 Elements Kung Fu

Master Teacher Zach Burns

The backbone of this small school where Kung Fu is changing lives, is Master Teacher Zach Burns.

Sifu Burns began learning martials at the age of 14 and has now been practicing for over half his life. He has mastery in four different Kung Fu systems including Hung Gar, Wing Chun, Long Fist, and Ba Gua as well as significant proficiency in several other systems, such as Wu DangYang Tai Chi and Xingyi. He strongly believes in continually learning and improving, especially as a teacher.

Sifu Burns’ approaches kung fu as a holistic practice and a way of life. Martial arts is more than merely punching and kicking, it can strengthen and balance a person outside class as much as in class.

Sifu Burns has been humbled and honored to learn from Grandmasters, Shaolin Monks, and Martial Arts Hall of Fame members. He is currently ranked a 4th Degree Black Belt.
